Anywhere from 24 to 70 pounds over the weight limit was enough to put nine Air India hostesses in the New Dehli unemployment lines after they were let go by Air India. The high court in India has ruled that Air India has a right to fire these flight attendants from the ground jobs they were given when they were labeled "too-fat-to fly" by the airline.
